Krishnaraj Rajalingam is a professor of cell biology at the Research Center for Immunotherapy (FZI) at the University Medical Center of JGU. His research focuses on deciphering the molecular signalling machinery which controls fundamental cellular processes like cell death/survival, migration and cellular differentiation. Before receiving the prestigious Heisenberg Professorship from the DFG, he has been leading an Emmy Noether Group at MSZ, University of Wuerzburg, and at the Institute of Biochemistry II at Goethe University Frankfurt. He is also a PLUS 3-fellow of the Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation.
