Entrance 1 (Johann-Joachim-Becher-Weg 7)
At the intersection Johann-Joachim-Becher-Weg/ Johannes-von-Müller-Weg, turn into Johann-Joachim-Becher-Weg (in the direction of ReWi, Mensa, etc.). After about 15 meters you will reach the entrance of lecture hall 18, which is located directly opposite the ReWi building. Enter the building and go down the corridor through the first double door. Then turn right into the stairwell. Go up to the second floor. On the stair landing you will find a white fire protection door on the right side. Enter the corridor and walk to the right until the end. You will pass another fire protection door and another staircase with an elevator. But keep going down the corridor. On the right side you will find our office.
Entrance 2 (Johannes-von-Müller-Weg 6)
At the intersection of Johann-Joachim-Becher-Weg/Johannes-von-Müller-Weg, turn into Johannes-von-Müller-Weg (in the direction of the Botanical Garden). After about 50 meters you will reach a cobblestone driveway with large stones as bollards. Behind it you will see a white door labeled Fachbereich 10 – Institut für Organismische und Molekulare Evolutionsbiologie; Institut für Molekulare Physiologie. Enter the building and go to the first floor. Once there, go through the fire protection door on the left. On the right side of the hallway you will find our office.
By car
You can drive to the campus via the main gate at Ackermannweg (access via Koblenzer Straße). Parking on campus is free of charge for 30 hours per year per license plate. If you want to park on campus for more than 30 hours a year, you will need an entry permit; for more information, please visit the websites of the traffic supervision (only in German). Alternatively, you can use the parking facilities at Dalheimer Weg or Albert-Schweitzer-Straße.
By public transport
The easiest way to reach the GRC is via the tram and bus stop "Universität". It is served by the tram lines 51, 53 and 59 as well as the bus lines 6, 9, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 64, 65, 68, 75, 78, 79, 90, 91, 93 and 630 (September 2023, https://www.mainzer-mobilitaet.de/).
